Cause that's what it's based on  the one behind is based on the "The Iron Gaint" by the movie of the same name.

Omg could you do an original Marauder? that was my all time favorite mech EVER looks wise. There are so many mechs this could be awesome to do, like an Atlas or even better a Dire Wolf or a Warhawk!!
